Completing and submitting a request

How to submit your rental requirements

Choose the overseas or Japan resident questionnaire, prepare your rental requirements, and save your ticket number and passcode after submitting. You can also contact an advisor first.

1. Choose the route that fits your situation

Outside Japan and planning to move

Choose the overseas questionnaire and prepare your expected arrival date, COE application status, residence status type, and study or work plans.

Complete the overseas questionnaire

Living in Japan and looking for a rental

Choose the Japan resident questionnaire and prepare your current address, Japanese mobile number, residence card expiry date, and employment or school details.

Complete the Japan resident questionnaire

Decide on your move-in date, rent and initial cost budgets, preferred areas, and commuting needs. Describe your guarantor, emergency contact, and available documents accurately, following the required-field markers on the page.

Still deciding? Contact an advisor first

Add an advisor using the WeChat, LINE, or WhatsApp QR code on the contact page. Click to enlarge it. On a phone, save a screenshot and scan it from the photo library in the matching app.

You can also submit a contact request with your nationality and email, selecting your location, rental or purchase interest, residence status, and preferred language. Your name and messaging ID are optional. Check your contact details and save the credentials shown on the success screen.

2. Review your details and submit

  1. Work through the sections for your name, contact details, residence information, and rental requirements. Use an available notes field to explain anything still undecided.
  2. Check your email, messaging ID, and preferred language. Select or upload documents as instructed and review the privacy information.
  3. Press the submit button at the end and wait for confirmation. If an input or upload error appears, correct it as instructed and try again.

3. Save your access credentials immediately

After submitting, save your ticket number, Ticket ID, six-character passcode, and direct access link. Do not rely only on email. If the page reports that the confirmation email failed, save the credentials from the success screen first.

Use your ticket number and passcode to view the status and advisor comments and add information when editing is allowed. A submitted contact request also creates credentials; scanning a QR code to chat does not automatically create a ticket.
